I'm looking for a plugin solution to a site I'm building to manage projects. I want the client to have the ability to submit project data and also for them to be able to come back later and update what they submitted or fill-in missing fields when they have the info available.

Is it possible to use Formidable in this way?

The answer is a conditional yes. Users have to be logged in at the time of submission in order to be able to return and edit their entries. Hopefully that works for your site.
