In case you haven't noticed, the internet isn't going anywhere--or is it? The web is constantly changing and evolving. Is your online presence up to snuff with the times we live in? We can get you there.
I'm excited to try Formidable and plan to update to Pro if I can get it working. Unfortunately if I install and activate the plugin, when I try to create a form, I am unable to edit. For example, clicking in the Title area and then exiting the area causes the browser to respond "Failed to save value:".
I've tried both Firefox and Safari. I have also deactivated every other plugin and changed my theme to the WPMU default. I'm using WPMU 2.9.1.1 and Formidable 1.02.01. Can you give me any tips?

No one has reported this error before. Are you able to add a field to your form? Do you have an unusual configuration? When you go you yoururl.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php what do you see?

If I try to add a field, the animated graphic (bluish 3-d daisy type thing) just spins. My configuration isn't far from stock. I had said I disabled all plugins and went to the default theme. But I do have a couple of mu-plugins I didn't disable like ldap, multi-db and plugin commander.
If I go to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php it returns the page with "-1".

It sounds like the ajax URL isn't working correctly. Would you try sticking this in a template page for a minute, and see if it matches the URL of the page you checked with the "-1":
Yes the URLs match. If I copy the output of the echo and paste it into a browser, it returns the same page, with "-1″.

Ok, now I am able to get ajax-admin.php to return "0". No change on the Formidable behavior, though.

Ok, I think we've got the cause figured out, but are still not sure what to do for a solution.
Our server is set to force SSL and we cannot get Formidable to save content when going through https.

Great, making progress! So now we just need to get the URL that Formidable is sending the ajax requests to to be SSL as well. I think all you need to do is update your site URL in you WP admin. There are two URLs on the WP Settings page. Make sure they are both https.

Hi,
It seem's I'm having the same problem; can't add a field to my form on the page on internet, but in localhost works nice. The same problem is with the "formidable.1.02.01"; "formidable.1.03.01" and "formidable.1.03.02". I'm working with free ( basic-fields) version for wordpress. You made suggestion to change both URL addresses in "https", but I'm afraid that I will not be able to open my URL (http://www.vlahovic-slike.net/) any longer. Thank you!

It sounds like your issue is a javacript error. In order to find the conflict, you'll need to deactivate plugins one at a time. However, it seems the issues are frequently with the themes since theme authors are generally a little less aware of the "WordPress way" to call javascripts. Anyway, let me know what you find so I can look into my code as well and I can let you know if you need to contact the other plugin/theme author.

Hi and thank you Steph,
I've tried to deactvate other plugins, but with no results, still was not able to add and save any of the basic fields in my form ( for a moment appears loading gif, than nothing!). Strange, there was no problem with wamp server at localhost where I'm using the same theme. Thank you again and goodbye. Ema

Maybe your database isn't up to date. Please try deactivating and reactivating the plugin. If this doesn't work and you would like more help, please send me temporary login info for your site through my contact form.

Hi Steph,
I found this thread so figured I'd comment on here instead of on the official support blog. I have been getting the same popups as well and also have FORCE_SSL configured.
The forms seem to work properly so I didn't pay too much attention to it before, but this morning I installed the registration plugin as well and that doesn't seem to work at all, even though the registration option is in the form editor. Maybe it's related to the popup, not sure. I'll also check into the site URL right now.

Interesting. I did change two URL's in the settings (the site URL cannot be changed) that did not appear related at all. Now for some reason saving the form seems to work.
The registration plugin still does not work however. I get the email, it all looks correct, the entry is added to the DB 'n all, just no new user with all the meta fields. I'm using 1.00rc1 of the registration plugin.
