Hi Steph,

Thank you for this fabulous plugin. It works great for me except for two plugins:

AJAX Category Dropdown

Subscribe2 (not sure if I want to use this maybe you can suggest another)

I see in the comments section for your Display Widgets announcement that you helped someone to correct the plugin that wasn't working for them. I was hoping you could do the same for me, I am happy to pay you of course.

I'm a novice and I'm using WP as a CMS with the blog feature used as a research library. I don't want comments left and I don't want the pdf files downloadable to anyone. I want when you click on the file you are interested it, you have to register/login to view. Do you know of a plugin that might work for me? Subscribe2 was the best I could come up with but it still didn't make it my "Research" page (blog) private. cg-inv.com/cgi/research

There are a few other tweeks I could use some help with too.

Thanks.

If you're trying to protect a page or content, it sounds like you need a membership plugin. I don't know of any free ones, but most are not terribly expensive. WishList Members may be good for you.

As far as the category drop-down plugin goes, I'll go ahead and write a new widget. I'll let you know when it's ready.

Thanks,

Steph

Wahoo! Thanks so much! I'll be sending that plugin to you later this afternoon. Just a heads up, I'm not rewriting all of it, so you will need both plugins activated in order for it to work correctly. Thanks again for the donation!

I'm still working on this, however I realized the original plugin doesn't even work for me. Are you having any issues with it?

Sorry for my late response, I didn't realize that you replied to me. I'm getting a pop-up window saying "AJAX error occured", but it seems to be working nontheless. I am live at http://www.cg-inv.com/cgi for you to see it. I'm open to using another plug-in or maybe I can show you what I really wanted to do and then maybe you have another suggest. Is there another form of communication we can use, like direct email? BTW, I haven't had a chance explore Wishlist yet, hopefully tonight! Thanks!!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean when you say Display Widgets plugin stops working. I see that there aren't the check boxes on the scroll widget because it's written in an old format. Is this what you mean?

Thank you for developing this plug in. For some reason the save button does not appear with the Sidebar login plug in.
