hi Steph:

Display Widget is really useful, thank you for the great work!!

I am in the process building a new site, have installed Display Widget and it worked perfectly. However, after I changed a page title, any widget on that page with show/hide set to "Show on checked" does not work.

I emptied the WP trash, cleared the cache, even re-installed Display Widget, that one page still cannot be be addressed by Display Widget.

I than changed another page title just for testing, Display Widget lost control of this page too. (both new page title show correctly in Display Widget's selection list)

I'm wondering if there are something that I'm missing?

Thank you so much.

Steve

I'm not able to replicate this. As far as the code goes, Display Widgets only deals with the page IDs, not titles, so I'm not sure why this would make a difference. If you'd like me to take a look at it, please send access to support@strategy11.com

Hi!

First of all, Display Widgets has been working great so far for me. Thank you!

I have however noticed a similar issue as discussed above. My widget, a Shopping Cart widget, displays correctly on the "checked" pages bar one. This is my Shop page, it is however translated into Afrikaans, so it is "Koop". As such, the page title is Koop, the url is Koop, and it is checked under Display Widgets as Koop. The widget however does not appear on this Koop page.

I had come to the same conclusion as above, since the actual page title in the HTML head of the document is "Products". Now, I have tried to alter this, but there seems to be code in the widget that prevents me from changing it. (I have contacted the widget developer to enquire about this.)

Any ideas on how I can get my widget to display correctly?

Best regards

Nic

Hi there,

Any news on thus issue?

To add to my above post. I am using Display Widgets in conjunction with Jigoshop v0.99 and WordPress 3.2.1. As mentioned, the widget does not recognise that the Shopping Cart widget should be displayed on the correct pages. Most importantly, this is the Shop page. I have selected Shop in both the Display widgets options as well as with the post id and still it does not display.

Any ideas on what could be preventing the widget from displaying on the required page?
