I'm having the problem that is_active_sidebar() returns true for pages where all widgets in a sidebar have been hidden by the Display Widgets plugin. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?
Thanks!

I still need to fix this issue for a project. I know that the Widget Logic plugin has fixed this issue, but unfortunately it requires theme users to understand WordPress conditional functions. Maybe the Widget Logic plugin could be extended to add an easier-to-use UI, or the same work around applied to Display Widgets? I'll post if I find a solution.

For anyone who has the same problem, check out this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/pl…..ic-visual/.
It doesn't have a fantastic UI, but it doesn't require the user to understand WP conditional tags, and it doesn't have this is_active_sidebar() bug.
