Hi Steph,

there is an error when a user tries to log in with an openid (http://wordpress.org/extend/pl.....ns/openid/) and has no account yet.

TOU reports "The requested URL /profile.php was not found on this server.".

That's OK since there is no user account. It would be great if your plugin goes back to the login or to the landing page of the blog without showing the error

There's not a way to set it to require agreement on your whole blog in general. However, you could set the page to protect as your home page and that would do this in a makeshift way. Hopefully that wil do the trick.

I get links for Edit Terms of Use, View Terms of Use, and View Welcome Message. When I click on the "Edit TOU", I get an edit page, but nothing in the boxes. The other 2 links reload the current page, which says "Member Agreement" at the top, has the three links, and nothing else. Actually it keeps trying to load, but then comes back and says "Problem Loading". The server is taking too long to respond. The site is http://tastethenightlife.com.

Greetings,

Thanks for a great plug-in!

Quick question--

Is there a way to have it so the TOS appears when you first access the blog? Before the user views the portfolio I'd like to require them to click the I Accept button. I imagine it sets a cookie so they would only to do this once, right? Don't want it popping up every time they come to the blog.

So, in short, before they can access the blog for the very first time they would get this. I don't want folks to have to register to view my portfolio but would like the TOS/PRI displayed.

Please advise. Thanks again!

Brian

When you go to the Terms of Use settings on your test blog, do you see your customized settings you made from the main blog? If not, there may be an issue recognizing whether 3.0 is using mulit-user or not. I don't actually have a 3.0 multi-user blog set up yet, so it would be great if you could check this out for me. Thanks!

First off, I would like to compliment you on creating a great plugin! Very useful!

I'm using 3.0 for multi-users. When I set up a new test blog, the TOU works very nicely on the signup page and is accessible in the admin panel. From inside the test blog, I have noticed that when I open up the terms, all the references to the name of the site have changed from the main site to the name of the test blog. I would like the name to remain that of the main blog. Is there a setting that can effect this?

Thanks!

Thanks for the great plugin! I just have one question.

We do not require users to login to read our site, but they are required to login before they comment. I can get the terms and conditions to show up when someone posts a new blog post (goes directly to the wp-admin page), and I can get it to work when they click on a specific page to read it (such as the main home page), but not when they login just to use the comments box. Am I missing something?

Thanks again.

Hello there,

I have a page called Blog/Latest News. This is a blank page and set that page in the admin area under (settings->reading) as the page where the blog posts to appear.

Is there a way to just apply it to that page before the blog posts are posted? All I want is for people to have to accept before viewing that page.

I've tried your plug-in and it works when I assigned the Front-end Page to other pages but when it comes to the Blog/Latest News page, it doesn't work. Maybe it's because the page content is dynamically generated from blog posts? I don't know.

Hope you could help me on this.

Thanks!
