This is working for me to select "Show on Checked" and check only the box for "Blog Page" under "Miscellaneous". What are your settings?

Hi, I really like the looks of your widget! Unfortunately I'm running into issues with the displaying of a widget on the front page. My front page is the blog (as opposed to a page). Whether I use the hide or show functionality, selecting the front page option, both don't seem to get the widget displayed. I can select blog page and that works, but then it shows it on each blog post.

I'm running the latest version of wordpress. Can you help?

Go to "Appearance" -> "Widgets" and add a widget to your sidebar. On the widget options for each correctly written widget, you will see the list of checkboxes of your pages.

Hello,

Im a newbie in WP, im trying to find the Display widgets list that shown on the sceenshot.

I tried finding it in "appearence>Widgets" , or "Pages" but I couldnt find it.

Sorry, but it's not that simple. The widgets in the old format need to be completely rewritten. Is it possible for you to contact the original authors to update their widgets?

Thank you for a great plugin.

I've discovered that some of my plugin widgets are not working with Display Widgets. From what I've understood, it's because they are not written in WP 2.8 format.

Could you point out what code need to be added to a plugin widget in order to make it work with Display Widgets?

Funny... I just came across this issue with another plugin I was working on the night before you posted this. You're right about the deleted posts issue too. The problem was it was showing ALL the posts of any status since 'published' was invalid. There's an issue in the WordPress documentation on that function, where it says the default is 'published'. My bad for not testing it out very much. Thanks! New release to come shortly.

Hello Steph,

Just checking out your wonderful display-widgets plug-in.
Reporting what I think I found is a bug.

I innitially found that the plug-in shows not only published pages, but also pages with the new 3.x "auto-draft" status.
(database: table: posts -> column: post_status -> value: auto-draft)

Looking some more into this, I think I have found the culprit.
The plugin looks for pages with the status "published" in the post table.
But I think it should look for status "publish". (without "ed")

This is what fixed it for me:

display-widgets.php, on both line 51 and 101:

$pages = get_posts( array('post_type' => 'page', 'post_status' => 'published', 'numberposts' => 99, 'order_by' => 'post_title', 'order' => 'ASC'));

changed to

$pages = get_posts( array('post_type' => 'page', 'post_status' => 'publish', 'numberposts' => 99, 'order_by' => 'post_title', 'order' => 'ASC'));

(Didnt test this, but this could also be responsable for the plug-in showing deleted pages as mentioned here: http://blog.strategy11.com/for.....-in-list/)

Sounds like an issue with the theme. I'd suggest you ask the theme author. I really can't tell you anything without having the actual theme you are using. Sorry.

Hi, great plugin!

I have an artisteer generated theme with three columns layout (2 sidebar activated).

Your plugin works very well but only in the first sidebar.

There's a solution?

For now, go to your Pages and click on "trash" right above the list of pages. If you delete these pages they will no longer show up. This is an issue that needs to be address though.

I came here to post about the exact same problem! For me I've noticed it's only happening to the pages that had originally failed to show up on the page list. Once I upgraded to ver 1.1 these missing pages now show up on the page list but refused to stayed checked off after I save.

BTW I just want to say thanks for the great plugin, its made configuring my site navigation so much easier!

When I try and check multiple page to "show on checked" it then click save in the Text widget, certain pages dont stayed check after clicking save, thus that widget is doesnt show up on that page. Please help.
