Change your sidebar content with each page. Avoid creating multiple sidebars and duplicating widgets by adding check boxes to each widget in the admin (as long as it is written in WordPress version 2.8 format) which will either show or hide the widgets on every site page. Great for use with Thesis theme, or just to avoid extra coding.

Works great, thank you
Works, but not with all of the widgets. ^(
It looks like it will only work with widgets written in WordPress version 2.8 format. Hopefully plugin developers will start rewriting their widgets in the new format. Sorry for the limitation.
You nailed it!!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
(Question: Is there a limit to the number of pages that the plugin can list? I have 50 (fifty) pages with sidebars & widgets.)
Great job!
I’m so glad it’s working well for you now. Right now the page limit is set at 99, but I can increase it if needed.
Thanks so much for all your help!
Thanks for very necessary plugin, I am using it with pleasure!
Glad to hear it’s working well for you! Thanks!
Great!!!….love it
Hey there. Great plugin, it should be integrated into Wordpress.
I have a problem with it though – do you have any idea why it could conflict with Category Page Extender Plugin?
This plugin displays posts from a category on a page, but on this pages I cannot display widgets using “show only on” in your plugin… It works on other things though.
It seems that the page created using category page extender is seen both as a single page, and also as an archive page. Or just as an archive page.
The option for using a specific url that was in your plugin’s earlier releases would solve this problem. Can you tell me how to use it, or re-enable it?
Oh, it wasn’t an earlier release, it was on Widget Context plugin. I’ll try if it works.
I’ll put it on my list of features to add. Let me know if Widget Context doesn’t work for you.
It works. Sorry to bother.
Hi,
Great plug-in, works well, what I’d also really, really love to see, is if the feature could also be extended to categories. It would then be totally aaawesome, to be able to change ads in the sidebar depending on the category being displayed as an example.

Version 1.6 will be up within the next 15 minutes with category check boxes added. Donations are always welcome
Must make another sidebars for each pages cos on my site all link of pages show on with this plugins
Of maybe not good enough to understand it
On my site shown all link`s pages
I apologize, but I don’t understand what you mean.
Hi Steph, this has been a life saver and allowed me to use the sidebar with links as a sub nav for a site I am putting together for a friend.
She has asked me if we can order the links, since WP orders them alphabetical and she doesn’t want that. I have tried using the Order My links Plug-in but it just seems to mess up what your plug in does, buy making all the links show up on every page. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks so much.
Paul
Have you tried Flexi Pages Widget? It may be a lot easier for a sub nav widget.
Steph:
Great plugin! Do you have or know of any plugin that does the same as Display Widgets but on posts?
Thanks,
Rick
Hi there, great plugin but it’s not working for me with a couple plugins:
- NAVT
- Flexi Pages
Any ideas why not?
Thanks,
Jonah
When you say it’s not working, do you mean the checkboxes don’t show up on those plugin widgets? If so, those plugin authors have most likely not updated the format their widgets are written in.
